Our Chapter is turning 5!

Please join us for a celebration on Wednesday, November 17th at the historic Warehouse 1856 in downtown Wilmington to celebrate the 5th anniversary of our First Tee chapter and continued success in Building Game Changers!

Time: 6:00-8:30 PM

Location: Warehouse 1856 – 15 S Water Street – Downtown Wilmington – On-street parking is available for free after 6:30 PM, and in nearby lots. The dress is casual.

Attendees will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres prepared by Pine Valley Market plus beer & wine.  Our special guest speaker Charlie Rymer who will provide an insider’s perspective on the lessons golf can teach beyond getting from tee to green.  We will also hear from a couple of our participants, who will share what First Tee has meant to them.

About our guest speaker: Charlie Rymer is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and the Nike Tour. He was an analyst for the Golf Channel and currently hosts The Charlie Rymer Golf Show on CBS SPORTS as an ambassador for Myrtle Beach golf.  Rymer was born in Cleveland, Tennessee. He played college golf at Georgia Tech, where he was a third-team All-American in 1988 and an honorable mention All-American in 1989. He won five tournaments during his time at Georgia Tech. He was inducted into the Georgia Tech Athletics Hall of Fame in 2000.  He also won the U.S. Junior Amateur in 1985.

About the venue: The Jacobi Warehouse building was established in 1856. The rugged structure was used to store building materials, hardware, cutlery, artillery, and agricultural equipment
